Gujarat High Court has released official advertisement for the recruitment of 112 Civil Judge Ad-hoc vacancies through their official notification number RC/0719/2016. These vacancies will be filled as per supreme court guide line. Selection of Civil Judge will be finalized through competitive examination. Civil Judge Exam Schedule:
Gujarat High Court has released tentative schedule for Civil Judge examination of Gujarat Judicial Service 2016. Candidates who have to apply online for these posts must reach following dates of examination-
➡ Date of Preliminary examination of Gujarat Civil Judge examination is – 29 January 2017
➡ Date of the Main examination is 26 February 2017
➡ Tentative date for Interview is – April and May 2017
Gujarat Judicial Service Vacancy Detail and Pay Scale:
As per the recruitment notification, 12 posts will be filled on regular basis and 100 posts will be filled on an Ad-hoc basis. Because Civil Judge can complete pending cases of Gujarat Judicial Department. Out of 12 posts of regular basis job, 6 posts will be filled by General category candidates and other than 6 posts will be filled by reserved category candidates. In case reserved category candidates will be not qualified in competitive examination then a vacant post will be filled by other category candidates. Similarly, 100 Ad-hoc posts will be filled through above process. Pay scale for Civil Judge is Rs. 2700-770-33090-930-40530-1080-44850 and other allowances as per government rules.
Educational Qualification for Civil Judge Post:
➡ Qualification for the Civil Judge post is a candidate should possess a Degree in Law from a University recognized by law in India and should be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and/or Criminal Jurisdiction on the last date fixed for submission of online Application. Candidates, who have passed the Degree in Law from the academic year 2009-2010 and onwards, must have also passed the All India Bar Examination, in order to be considered as eligible for being termed as a Practicing as Advocate.
➡ Candidate should have worked in Courts or other Allied Departments, for at least from (05) five years and must possess a Degree in Law (Special) from a University recognized by law in India.
➡ Candidate should possess Certificate(s), certifying diploma to be possessing in Basic Knowledge of Computer Application or Operation, issued by a Government recognized Institute or other recognized Institute, as set out by the Government of Gujarat in General Administrative Department Resolution No. PRCH-102005-1532-K, dated 30/09/2006 and Resolution No.CRR-10-2007-120320-G.5 dated 13/08/2008.
