Assistant Professor Vacancy Detail:
The notification has been issued by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission for the posts of MPPSC Assistant Professor through the official website. This notification has also been published in the Employment Newspaper of 18 December 2017.
In this context, appointments will be made by the Commission on 2261 posts. Category wise vacancy detail is given in the MPPSC Assistant Professor notification. The reservation facility for reserved category candidates will be given to permanent resident candidates of Madhya Pradesh only according to the rules of the MP State Government.
Apart from this, there are also reserved seats for disabilities person. 221 seats have been reserved for Scheduled Castes candidates. While 447 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes candidates. Similarly, 39 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes. A total of 707 seats are reserved in the backlog post. In addition to the backlog, reservation list of subject-related vacancies has been released in relation to the promotion of vacant posts. Instructions for Online Application:
Applications for the post of MPPSC Assistant Professor will be accepted online only. Candidates can send applications from December 25, 2017, to January 24, 2018, through MPPSC’s official website or mponline.gov.in website.

Candidates can get information regarding their application through helpline number. Candidate carefully checks the online application form. Error correction can be done from December 30, 2017 to January 26, 2018 in online applications. For this ₹ 50 error correction fee has been set.
The result of this examination is declared on the basis of the category of candidates. Therefore, the candidates should carefully select their category in the application form.
Any type of change is not valid after the error correction period. No correspondence will be treated by the Commission in this context.
The result of the online examination will be published only through the Commission’s website and employment newsletter.

Assistant Professor Recruitment Process:
The final selection will be done on the basis of scores in the Online Competitive Examination and Interview conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. Apart from this, candidates will be selected on the basis of the experience of working in the schools of the academic faculties of State Universities funded by the Government College and Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Assistant Professor selection and the final result will be declared as per successful in written examination and interview. 3 times the number of candidates for each category will be invited for an interview. To succeed in the online written examination, it is mandatory for candidates to earn at least 40% marks in each question paper.
Candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Disabled category of Madhya Pradesh will be given 10% marks in the exemption. Thus, for such candidates, it is mandatory to get at least 30% marks in each question paper in the written examination.
Candidates who will be found only after examining the records will be invited only for the interview. The decision of the Commission will be final regarding the calling for interviewing of Assistant Professor posts.
Qualifying applicants will be notified through the Commission’s website. Applicants absent in the interview will be considered ineligible for selection. There is no provision for re-evaluation in the Commission’s examination system.
In this regard, no action will be taken against representations received. If the computer error or clerical error is noticed even after examination results, then the Commission has the right to improve the final result.
Priority on work experience:
Priority will be given on the basis of work experience by the Commission for appointment to the posts of Assistant Professor. NRI Resident Candidates of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit. The candidates who have done the job of Assistant Professor in Government Colleges as guest scholars will be given preference.
In the form of a guest scholar, candidates working on the posts of assistant professors will also be given a maximum of 5 years relaxation in the age limit.
